Our Services at H&H Virginia
H&H Virginia offers Air Testing and Inspection Services. The goal of air testing for us is to find the reason a building may be causing health problems. We tend to test for mold and allergens first. We use a process of elimination to determine what may cause illness in the property.
Once the 3rd party laboratory finds the source of an issue, we can set up a plan on how to fix the issue.
H&H Virginia Testing Services
Air Testing: Indoor air quality testing is the core service offered by these companies. This service can include testing for a variety of substances and pollutants, such as mold, allergens, dust, carbon monoxide, pollen, radon, and 74 common volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Mold Testing: Mold can cause health problems and structural damage to buildings. Mold testing can help identify the presence of mold and determine the type of mold present. This information can be used to develop a plan for removing the mold and preventing future mold growth.
Allergen Testing: Allergen testing can identify allergens, such as dust mites, pet dander, and pollen, that may be present in indoor air. This information can be used to develop a plan for reducing allergens and improving indoor air quality.
Particulate Matter Testing (PM): A crucial process for assessing the concentration of tiny particles suspended in the air, which can have significant health implications. These particles, classified as PM2.5 (particles with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less) and PM10 (particles with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less), can penetrate deep into the respiratory system, exacerbating respiratory issues and other health problems.
Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Testing: VOCs are toxic gases that can be released by household products, such as paints, cleaning products, and air fresheners. VOC testing can determine the level of VOCs in indoor air and provide recommendations for reducing VOC levels. We test for 80+ EPA recognized VOCs and 160,000 other chemical compounds.

AIR TESTING AND CONSULTING

*DISCLAIMER: Although many individuals experience symptomatic relief from reductions of airborne microbial contamination, indoor air environmental quality is highly complex and effected by many factors. Each individual has different sensitivities to pollutants, pollutant levels or environmental conditions. Individuals with pre-existing allergic conditions, respiratory problems or other symptoms should always consult a competent physician. H&H Virginia cannot and does not express any opinion on individual health problems or their elevation from reduction of microbial contamination. Accordingly, H&H Virginia specifically disclaims any health or individual or collective symptomatic relief.
